6 hot gadgets set to launch in India soon
Here are six such interesting gadgets that are expected to arrive in India soon.
Xiaomi Amazfit smartwatch
It is the world’s first smartwatch to use a 28nm GPS sensor for enhanced location tracking, and has a 1.34-inch circular display with a resolution of 300×300 pixels.
It runs on a 1.2 GHz processor with 512MB RAM, has 4GB storage and it comes with built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. The company claims that the 200mAh battery will be good for five days of battery life with regular use. Other features include a continuous heart rate sensor and IP67 certification for water and dust resistance.
The smartwatch was launched in China at a price of 799 Yuan (about `8,000) and we are expecting Xiaomi to launch it in India soon
Dell’s new Alienware laptops
The new laptops use updated Nvidia GTX 10 series Pascal GPUs that enable VR output.They have 8GB RAM, and you can choose from three screen sizes: 17.3 inches (Alienware 17), 15.6 inches (Alienware 15) and 13.3 inches (Alienware 13). The range will allow users to configure the laptops with a choice of sixth generation Intel Core i processor, and Sata hard drive or SSD storagealthough we doubt India will get this feature of self configuration. No information is available about the price of the new range.
However, they are expected in the International market in November, and we’re hoping India will get them by the end of 2016.

Samsung Gear 3 smartwatch
Both versions have an always-on full circular 1.3-inch display with a rotating bezel for control, similar to the Gear S2.
The watches are IP68 certified for dust and water protection and feature built-in LTE connectivity, which enables them to work even without a smartphone. Samsung claims that the watches have up to four days of battery life, support wireless charging and run Tizen OS.
Hardware includes a 1 Ghz dual-core Exynos 7270 processor, 768MB RAM and 4GB storage. While there has been no official announcement of an India launch, we expect them to arrive around November with an expected pricetag of `20,000 to `30,000.
LeEco Le Pro 3 smartphone
Their next offering is the Le Pro 3, which uses Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line Snapdragon 821 processor and comes with 4 or 6GB RAM, 3264128GB storage and a large 4,070mAh battery.
It has a 16MP primary camera with phase detection autofocus, 8MP front facing camera, dual SIM slots, dual speakers, a fingerprint sensor, 4G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The Android smartphone has just been launched in China for 1,799 Chinese Yuan (about Rs 18,000), and we expect the company to bring it to India in the coming months.
Sony PlayStation 4 Pro
It is powered by the same 8 core AMD processor, but now has double the GPU power, 8GB RAM and a 1TB hard drive. Weighing 3.3 kg, the console has three USB 3 ports, Ethernet, HDMI, optical audio and an aux port, along with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The new console will be made available globally November 2016 onwards, so we hope it will arrive in India by December 2016.
