1 Remove the surplus.
Grab a paper towel and a spoon, and try to remove as much of the stain as possible without spreading it further.
2Check the care labels.
Before proceeding, consult your garment’s fabric care label to determine whether it is safe to wash in a washing machine and under what conditions. Would you like to know what each sign represents? Check out our helpful advice on fabric care labels.
Three doses of detergent.
To use Ariel Matic Powder, follow the dosing recommendations on the carton. Ariel offers a variety of laundry products, including liquid detergent and PODS, to accommodate your preferred washing method.
4Load.
Place the soiled item directly into your washing machine’s drum and fill it with clothes that are comparable in color and fabric type. To avoid overloading or underloading your washer, use the palm trick: simply insert your palm between your clothing and the drum’s wall; if it fits, you have the ideal load. If it doesn’t, remove a few items. If there is still enough space, add more clothing.
5Wash your clothes.
Choose the best wash cycle and water temperature based on the guidelines on your garment’s fabric care label.
6. Unload instantly.
Once the wash is complete, remove your garments as soon as possible, preferably within two hours, for maximum freshness. Leave them in the damp and dark atmosphere of your washer for too long, and your garments can develop an unpleasant mildew odor.
7Check the clothing before drying.
Before putting your clothes in the dryer or hanging them out to dry on a line outdoors, make sure any ugly stains are fully gone, since drying will just set them in.
To prevent stains from setting in, soak your clothing in cold water as quickly as possible, even if you don’t know where the stain originated. However, for greasy stains that are more difficult to remove, use warm or hot water. Are you hungry for more?
