FOUR masked thugs are being hunted after they burst into a man’s home and robbed him of cash and clothing stock.
Police Scotland is investigating after the group of men broke into a man’s home in Blantyre around 7pm on Friday.
The victim was within his flat in Forres Street when he heard a knock at the door. When he answered the door a group of three to four men wearing dark clothing and balaclavas burst in and demanded money.
They victim sells Stone Island clothes online and the group of men demanded his stock too.
On their way out of the property the men took the victim’s keys to his silver Mercedes C2 20 and drove off with it.
Some of the group also made off in a black Jeep-style vehicle that they had arrived in.
Detective Constable Debbie Walker from Cambuslang CID said: “This was a targeted attack and the group of men were clearly aware of the victim’s business selling these clothes.
“Enquiries are continuing into the circumstances however I would like to speak to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area around the time of the incident.
