Ford has issued a voluntary recall in India for 39,315 units of its Ford Fiesta Classic and the previous generation Ford Figo to rectify a faulty high-pressure power steering hose. The car maker disclosed that the affected cars rolled out of their Chennai factory between the years 2004 and 2012.
As a part of this procedure, Ford dealers have been tasked to inspect the affected cars for the potential concern in the hose, before replacing it if necessary. Owners of the mentioned cars can contact Ford dealerships for further information regarding the replacement.
Ford has reiterated that they remain committed to delivering world-class quality vehicles to its customers and that this voluntary safety recall is a part of that commitment.
