Mediplus to showcase drug delivery system at Arab Health

A pioneering IV administration set that allows clinicians to access a variety of pumps and deliver fluids in a safe manner will be launched at Arab Health 2017 by UK manufacturer, Mediplus.

Argentum is a dedicated infusion delivery set, designed to facilitate the administration of intravenous medicines in one complete system.

Designed together with clinicians, the innovative system offers convenience to the end user whilst maintaining the highest standards for safe, cost effective drug delivery.

It has been developed to facilitate the administration intravenous drugs within general surgery, obstetrics, coronary care, intensive and critical care and recovery.

Attending Arab Heath for the third time, family-run Mediplus will also be showcasing their extensive portfolio, which includes a range of Gold Standard TIVA (Total Intravenous Anaesthesia) solutions.

Supplying the healthcare sector with innovative patient centric products for 30 years, Mediplus have worked closely with clinicians to develop, manufacture and bring to market, 15 new innovations.

The company focuses on two key clinical areas – pelvic floor, which includes urology, urogynaecology, gynaecology, gastroenterology, and critical care which covers anaesthetics and general surgery sectors.

Mediplus always continue to strive for the product that will make the difference; developing innovations that are less traumatic and invasive for the patient, whilst improving the use for the clinician.

The company currently sells direct to end users in more than forty countries globally and are keen to expand into the Middle East.

In 2013, Mediplus received The Queen’s Award for Enterprise – International Trade, a prestigious award made annually by HM The Queen, which is only given for the highest levels of excellence. The Mediplus award recognises their achievement of increased year-on-year export sales growth for the last six years.

Arab Health 2017 is taking place from 30th January to 2nd February 2017 at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre. Throughout the congress, Mediplus will be located on the UK Pavilion stand Z1.D10.
